FOOD- 5 Stars Service-3 Stars Ambiance-3Stars Don't expect a good service in this Restaurant as they really busy , and sometimes even rude., try to kick your ass out , to serve the nx costumer, Food quality , I should say a place to go around Lake Forest Area. Ambiance- No ambiance.

I love this place. Much better selection than SW before it closed. Been here many times and this place is my go to Chinese food place. The food is absolutely delicious. From authentic Chinese "village" food to the delicible Chinese Cuisine it's allll worth the trip. The service takes some getting used to since it's not geared towards high customer satisfaction just business. Highly recommend this place. Best time? Opening to 11:30am or after 2-2:30pm. As many ppl come from Laguna Woods between 11:30-2.

This spot always hits when I want a la carte good ole Chinese Food with the family. Honey Walnut Shrimp, Garlic Snow Pea Leaves, Ginger Scallion Fish Fillets, Salt & Pepper Pork Chop, Salt & Pepper Fish Fillet, Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce and Braised String Beans are always our go-to items and are always delicious with some chili oil =) aka Me. lol We recently tried the Orange Beef, and dang..... it was really good! It caught me off guard. The texture and tons of flavor of the dish which made me a fan. It is now another must-order item when I come here with my mom and aunties. Service is fast, efficient and can handle 16 people with ease. Thank you Classic Chinese Restaurant!

Classic Chinese restaurant offers fantastic Cantonese flair. It is a solid choice if you are in the area and don't want to venture far. They have fish tanks that house fresh seafood such as live Dungeness crab, lobster, king crab, and Pacific rockfish. They offer several ways to cook the live seafood. I've been here many times with my family and never left disappointed.

Second time dining in, first time for dinner. Will take reservations over phone, otherwise there will be a wait to get seated. Prices and quantity aren't as valued and generous as for lunch, but since we dined as a party of 6, I got to sample a lot more dishes...OK to great. It is served family style, and white rice needs to be ordered separately, and the dishes will come out in whatever order the chef decided to cook them. XLB - pork soup dumplings - these will take 20-25 minutes to be prepared, and were delivered to the table in the middle of the rest of the entrees. For a restaurant that has so many dish choices, these were surprisingly VERY good: thinner skin, decent amount of soup inside, the pork sausage inside was good quality and flavorful. We ordered two trays, but only came with one small ramekin of soy sauce/ginger with no spoon. Not sure how we were supposed to use that. Deep Fried pork chop with bone - excellent. These actually came out first, and by the time the second dish came out, we were almost done with it. Definitely a finger food, being careful of the bones. kung pao chicken - decent. chicken was the food grade breast meat that you get at any chinese restaurant. Beef and broccoli - great sauce, quality of beef was mediocre (a bit gummy and too tender), decent amount of broccoli. Seafood tofu hot pot - my favorite dish. The tofu was deep fried silken, with large rehydrated mushrooms and shrimp. Definite keeper. Beef pan fried noodles - a lot of baby bokchoy, same beef quality, loved the thin chow mein noodles. Shrimp fried rice - very good, with large shrimp pieces and finely diced vegetables.
